PART 4: DIVERSITY, EQUITY, AND INCLUSION STRATEGIES

This Training involves important discussions on developing and maintaining a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace environment. It is targeted towards individuals serving in human resources, legal, compliance, or leadership roles.

Employers and leaders must take an active role in building diverse, equitable, and inclusive organizations. A diverse workforce positively impacts the employer’s bottom line and is critical to an organization’s success. It is important to educate leaders on these vital issues.

Training topics include:

  • Diversity and inclusion goals and creating initiatives

  • Policies and procedures, compensation, and pay practices

  • Recruiting avenues/interviewing and hiring process

  • Performance review practices

  • Criteria for hiring, promotions, and pay

  • Strategies for positive diverse group interactions

  • Unbiased job descriptions

  • Data and analytics to inform decision-making

  • Professional development and career growth access

  • Reasonable accommodations and workplace flexibility

  • Resource groups and open-door policies

  • Organizational areas of strength and weakness

This Training Program can be tailored to suit the employer’s needs and is conducted live (on site or virtually). It is typically 2-3 hours but can be enhanced. KSB Law also conducts DEI Audits and assists employers with DEI policies and strategies.
