EXPERIENCE
Sara brings both large and small firm experience to her position as an employment law and litigation paralegal. She began her paralegal career in 1997 and has supported employment law matters for 20+ years.
Sara has experience supporting employment law matters, including harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and whistleblowing matters, including research, pleadings and discovery, demand letters, mediation statements, case management and trial preparation. Sara’s support is integral to the KSB Law team.
Client & Case Support
- Conducts initial intake with new clients. Assists with the evaluation of employment claims, including document review and preparation of chronologies and document indices for employment negotiation and litigation matters.
- Provides support in the preparation of comprehensive independent workplace investigation reports and employment-related training materials.
- Supports attorneys on employment compliance audits, employment handbooks, policies and procedures, employment contracts and severance agreements.
Administrative & Marketing Support
- Coordinates the scheduling of consultations, meetings, and prepares legal correspondence, and engagement agreements.
- Prepares marketing materials and presentations and assists with the firm’s website including firm blogs and case updates.
- Assists on oversight of AAA matters.
CREDENTIALS
Sara has presented Seminars for the National Institute for Paralegal Education, including on Essential Litigation Skills, Advanced Case Management, Trial Strategies and Effective Legal Writing.
In July 2003, she appeared as a contestant on the game show Jeopardy.
