ABOUT KSBRANIGAN LAW P.C.
KSBranigan Law P.C. is a boutique, woman-owned law firm that concentrates in Alternative Dispute Resolution; Diversity, Equity & Inclusion; and Employment Law. We support organizations in their goals to foster respectful and inclusive environments, and to prevent or remedy employment challenges and pay disparities before lawsuits arise. We help our clients realize these goals through an array of training, counseling, coaching, investigations, audits, and assessments. If workplace conflict results in litigation, our attorney-neutrals can help parties resolve and manage their disputes in mediation or arbitration. We conduct cutting-edge investigation training for in-house teams, create investigation protocols designed to ensure efficacy, and provide expert opinions and testimony on investigation effectiveness. We also provide tailored training and consulting in the legal industry focused on bias awareness and the advancement and retention of women and underrepresented lawyers.
OUR STORY OF ADVANCEMENT & RETENTION
Kirsten Scheurer Branigan, Founder and Managing Partner, launched the Firm in 2006 after practicing employment law at a large New Jersey firm. Simultaneously, she led a statewide revitalization of the New Jersey Women Lawyers Association growing it to a robust membership. The advancement and retention of women lawyers was a founding tenet of the Firm’s formation and remains integral to the Firm’s mission today. We actively work to help women lawyers remain in, and transition back into, the practice of law. The Firm’s attorneys have been, and continue to be, involved in state and national studies regarding women and underrepresented lawyers.
WOMAN-OWNED NAMWOLF & WBENC-CERTIFIED
We are a proud member of the National Association of Minority and Women Owned Law Firms (NAMWOLF) and certified by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC). NAMWOLF is a nonprofit trade association comprised of minority and women owned law firms and other interested parties throughout the United States. WBENC was founded to develop a nationwide standard for women-owned business certification and is now the largest third-party certifier of businesses owned, controlled, and operated by women in the United States.
