Navigating Religion, Culture & Politics at Work: Tackling Antisemitism and Islamophobia

KSBranigan Law’s first Lunch & Learn of 2024, “Navigating Religion, Culture & Politics at Work: Tackling Antisemitism and Islamophobia,” took place on January 23, 2024 from 12 P.M. – 1 P.M.

This Lunch & Learn program was led by Beth P. Zoller, and covered the following topics:

  • Unconscious/implicit bias and microaggressions.
  • Discrimination and harassment based upon religion, ethnicity, and national origin, including appearance, clothing, language, hair (CROWN Act).
  • Religious accommodations under SCOTUS’ new standard in Groff v. DeJoy and religious expression vs. proselyting.
  • Political speech, social media, and other off duty conduct.
  • White supremacy, bias incidents and hate speech.
  • Updating DEI policies/organizational statements and providing employee support.
