Are you thinking about allowing employees to bring pets to work? Congratulations on understanding the benefits of a pet friendly workplace! However, as with any employee benefit being contemplated, careful consideration should be given to the characteristics of your workplace and any challenges that might arise by expanding it to include furry, feathered, or scaled “coworkers.” If the environment is not really conducive to pets fulltime, there are alternative ways that employers can still support employees with pets.
