The New Jersey State Bar Association and New Jersey Lawyers Assistance Program (NJLAP) will hosted a week-long series of events, Well-Being Week in Law, from May 2-6, which highlights the importance of wellness in the legal community. The events were organized by NJLAP, the NJSBA and its Lawyer Well-Being Committee, which was chaired by Lori Buza. “Lawyer mental and physical well-being is essential to effective and ethical lawyering,” said Ms. Buza, quoted in The Bar Report. “The legal profession must place value on the well-being of legal counsel, to enhance the legal experience for attorneys and the communities they serve.”
