Kirsten Scheurer Branigan, Esq. served as moderator of Noise Reduction: Lessons Learned from Mistakes Made During Mediation on October 30, 2015 for the Annual Conference of the New Jersey chapter of the National Employment Law Association. Ms. Branigan facilitated discussion on such topics as failure to select the right mediator, improper preparation tone and mindset, deciding on joint sessions, stifling the client, insufficient information, failing to manage expectations, unexpected modification of demands, intellectual dishonest, bottom line offers and giving up too soon.
