On April 1, 2020, Carole Lynn Nowicki and Teresa Boyle-Vellucci provided a telephonic seminar to the National Business Institute: Coronavirus: Small Business Survival Guide. Ms. Nowicki’s and Ms. Boyle-Vellucci’s presentation highlighted the issues of Government Relief, SBA Disaster Assistance Loans, and Paid Leave Under the New Coronavirus Law. They focused on the relevant employer questions of Consequences When You Don’t Pay Employees on Time; Voluntary Leave, Furlough, Wage and Hour Reductions; Layoffs and Unemployment Insurance; and Terminating an Employee.
