On February 26, 2019, Kirsten Scheurer Branigan, Esq. participated in a program entitled, “What’s Next for Gender Relations in the #MeToo Era?” The panelists discussed the shift from all women being heard to all women being believed and what this backlash means from a legal perspective. There was a discussion about evidentiary rules, admissibility and strength of oral testimony, especially if uncorroborated, and sham investigations.
