Kirsten Scheurer Branigan, Esq. was a panelist on a program presented to a national audience of attorneys entitled, “Advanced Investigations: What Am I Missing?” at the American Bar Association’s 8th Annual Labor and Employment Law Conference in Los Angeles on November 7, 2014. Through a complex hypothetical, the panelists focused on important topics to consider when planning an investigation, which are often overlooked. The topics included documenting and communicating about investigations, the essential engagement elements with outside investigators, and issues surrounding confidentiality instructions.
