According to data from the Centers for Disease Control, more than 1 in 4 individuals in the United States lives with a disability. As such, managers and supervisors need to understand the requirements and protections of the Americans with Disability Act (ADA) and similar state laws. Further, it is critical to gain a deeper understanding of who may be entitled to a reasonable accommodation and the need to engage in the interactive process.
The target audience includes all levels of leadership, such as supervisors, managers, and those who make significant decisions concerning wages and compensation. Personnel in human resources, compliance, and legal roles may also benefit from this Training.
