Beth P. Zoller to Speak at the New Jersey State Bar Association’s 2025 Annual Meeting and Convention

Beth P. Zoller is scheduled to speak at the New Jersey State Bar Association’s 2025 Annual Meeting and Convention on two different panels. The convention takes place May 14 – May 16 at The Borgata Hotel, Casino & Spa in Atlantic City.

On Wednesday, May 14, 2025, Ms. Zoller will be presenting on the topic Confidentiality, Privacy and Attorney Client Privilege in Internal Investigations in the Public and Private Sectors. This program will examine legal and regulatory issues related to confidentiality, privacy, and attorney-client privilege during internal investigations in both public and private sectors. Other speakers include Meghan Chrisner-Keefe, Esq.; Lisa Manshel, Esq.; Aileen O’Driscoll, Esq.; Robert T. Szyba, Esq.; and Stephanie Wilson, Esq. Janett Smyth, Esq. will be moderating.

On Thursday, May 15, 2025, Ms. Zoller will be a moderator and speaker for the program, Changes in Employment Law Updates: Administration’s ‘Shock and Awe’ Approach meets the Rule of Law. This program seeks to provide the latest updates on the Trump administration’s initiatives to dramatically alter the worlds of public and private employment including efforts to redefine the structure of the Federal Civil Service; enhanced immigration enforcement in the workplace; changes to wage and hours regulations; the impact on the National Labor Relations Act, its governing Board, and shifting the role of the EEOC; and attempting to roll back DEI. It will explore civil service changes’ First Amendment issues, immigration enforcement’s due process challenges, and employment law alterations’ viability.
