On Thursday, April 3, 2025, Beth P. Zoller participated in the 2025 Annual New Jersey Public Employment Conference (PERC), a daylong series of panels to discuss the critical issues confronting New Jersey’s public sector, as a moderator on the topic, “EEO Workplace Investigations and Evolving Standards for Workplace Behavior.” This presentation discussed the rights of union-represented employees and their unions during workplace investigations; what rules apply as to confidentiality; and how, if at all, federal edicts regarding DEI-type initiatives will impact the NJ public sector and bargaining. Panelists included Derek J. Demeri (Weissman & Mintz LLC), Gina Mendola Longarzo (Law Offices of Gina Mendola Longarzo), Matthew J.
