Jin Y. Hwang Spoke At New Jersey Association for Justice’s Meadowlands Seminar

On November 21, 2024, Jin Y. Hwang was a speaker on the panel Hiring and Retaining Diverse Attorneys/How to Build a Diverse Team of Attorneys at the New Jersey Association for Justice’s Meadowlands Seminar 2024. Jin discussed programs such as the Prospective Partners Program and In-House Counsel Summit with the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association (NAPABA) and her work with the American Bar Association’s Commission on Women in the Profession, including The Grit and Growth Mindset Project. She urged the audience members to support their colleagues in substantively participating in bar associations, especially affinity bar associations, which are subject matter experts and full of practical and useful resources. The affinity bar associations also provide excellent mentorship, leadership, and business development opportunities. Jin is a past Asian Pacific American Lawyers Association of New Jersey (APALA-NJ) officer and a past NAPABA president, of which APALA-NJ is one of its 80+ state and local affiliates.

The Meadowlands Seminar 2024 was the 18th annual meeting and took place from November 20, 2024 – November 22, 2024 at the Hilton Meadowlands in East Rutherford, N.J. This three-day event was designed to provide an exceptional opportunity for trial attorneys to earn their continuing legal education (CLE) credits, expand their knowledge, and connect with peers.
