The New Jersey Women Lawyers Association (NJWLA) has launched its first Reproductive Rights Newsletter, demonstrating the organization’s commitment to fostering women’s equal treatment under the law including the fundamental right to reproductive self-determination which includes the freedom to privately decide whether or when to bear a child; to have guaranteed access to quality, safe reproductive health care; and to make these decisions free from intrusion, coercion, threats of violence or criminal prosecution, or discrimination.
Kirsten Scheurer Branigan is proud to be leading the NJWLA’s Reproductive Rights Committee along with Suzanne Cerra, Lynne Anderson, Michelle Schapp, and Jaimee Katz Sussner. The amazing efforts of Julia Cozine, Sofie Cozine, and KSBranigan Law P.C. first year associate, Katie Ann Insinga, were also integral in producing the inaugural publication, which was circulated on October 29, 2024.
