Kirsten Scheurer Branigan Spoke at NAMWOLF Annual Meeting

On Tuesday, September 17, 2024, Kirsten Scheurer Branigan moderated a panel discussion on the topic of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) in a Post-Harvard Landscape at the 2024 NAMWOLF Annual Meeting & Virtual Law Firm Expo in Atlanta, Georgia. The distinguished panelists included Tennille Hoover, Esq., Assistant General Counsel, U.S. Bank; Jennifer Ward, Esq., Managing Partner, Ward Law, LLC; and Nicole Torrado, Esq., Interim General Counsel, Public Health Institute. The program addressed the impact of the Supreme Court’s decision in Students for Fair Admissions, Inc. v. President and Fellows of Harvard College on DEI, delving into the current legal landscape and the present status of DEI initiatives in employment settings. The three-day conference, took place from September 15 – September 18, 2024, offered unique opportunities to connect corporate counsel from Fortune 1000 companies with minority and women owned law firms.

Other featured speakers at the conference included Al Vivian, President & CEO, Basic Diversity Inc.; and political leader, business owner, and New York Times Bestselling Author, Stacey Abrams.
