Kirsten Scheurer Branigan and Carole Lynn Nowicki were admitted to the Bar of the United States Supreme Court, along with fellow Board members of the New Jersey Women Lawyers Association (NJWLA). Nowicki was sworn in on January 14, 2019 and Branigan was admitted on January 15, 2019. Branigan celebrated the day with her two eldest children. The admission provides both attorneys with special Bar privileges in our nation’s capital, including reserved courtroom seating, admission to oral arguments and use of the Court’s extensive library.
