Alice Paul Equality Award – Princeton, NJ

In April 2008, Ms. Branigan received the esteemed Alice Paul Equality Award bestowed by the Alice Paul Institute in honor of her work to advance equality for women. The Alice Paul Institute is a non-profit organization dedicated to educating the public about the life and work of New Jersey’s most famous suffragist, Alice Stokes Paul (1885-1977), author of the Equal Rights Amendment, founder of the National Women’s Party, and a life-long activist for women’s equality.
