Promoting a “Speak Up” Culture and Encouraging Bystander Intervention and Upstander Action
January 22 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
Free
In today’s workplace, it is critical to cultivate an environment where individuals feel valued, respected, safe, and comfortable coming to work. A key component of this is empowering employees to be active bystanders and upstanders who are able to recognize and address inappropriate or abusive behavior before it escalates into harassment, discrimination, and bullying and creates legal risk for the employer.
Join us and our guest speaker, Kimberly Banks MacKay, Esq. corporate board director, former General Counsel and Compliance Officer, for a KSB Law Lunch and Learn, as we explore the importance of fostering a speak-up culture and encouraging meaningful bystander intervention and upstander action.
