Navigating a Multigenerational Workforce

September 25 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Free

With a number of generations represented in today’s workforce, it is more important than ever for organizations to understand and appreciate the unique contributions of each generation and lean into bridging generational gaps in values, communication, and expectations to build cohesive teams. Effectively managing a multigenerational team not only fosters a more respectful, inclusive, and productive workplace, but also helps reduce the risk of age-related discrimination, harassment, and bias.

Join us for a KSB Law Lunch and Learn, where we will explore tools and strategies to successfully navigate the complexities of a multigenerational workforce. Guest speakers include Kia King, Chief of Staff at the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs (DCA), and Elise Holtzman, CEO of The Lawyer’s Edge.

Topics will include:

  • Identifying the benefits and challenges of multigenerational teams
  • Understanding generational differences in style, communication, feedback, work habits, and technology use
  • Exploring strategies for bridging generational gaps and building strong, collaborative teams
  • Avoiding age-based stereotypes and assumptions that can lead to bias, harassment, or claims of discrimination
  • Providing appropriate accommodations for age-related health conditions, caregiving responsibilities, and other generational needs

This program takes place on Thursday, September 25, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. ET. Please note that this program will offer 1 PDC SHRM credit and 1.2 NJ CLE (DEIB) Diversity/Inclusion/Elimination of Bias credits. If you will be applying for NJ CLE, click here to access the Evaluation Form.
