EXPERIENCE

Katie Ann Insinga, Esq. is an associate attorney at the firm of KSBranigan Law P.C. A recent graduate of Rutgers Law School, she is excited to begin her career where she interned during her third year of law school.

During law school, Katie participated in the Rutgers International Human Rights Clinic, where she gained practical experience in the legal field and had a leading role in the New Jersey Women in Law Study with co-director Kirsten Scheurer Branigan. Her work with the study included research and exploration into retention and promotion issues faced by New Jersey women attorneys. Katie’s experience includes interacting with clients, as well as trauma-informed interviewing. She also has extensive legal research and writing skills, including contributing to a Cornell Law Review article regarding issues on sexual assault, and co-writing an article on neurodiversity in the legal field for New Jersey Lawyer magazine. While in law school, Katie also interned for Judge Jodi Rosenberg in Essex County Superior Court Family Division, where she learned how to handle intricate and sensitive matters in the courts. After completing her undergraduate degree but prior to her career in law, Katie worked as a data analyst for several years in both the music and pharmaceutical industries.

Katie received her JD from Rutgers Law School in 2024. She received a B.A. in Economics with a minor in business, graduating with academic honors from Montclair State University in 2018.
