Carole is a seasoned commercial litigator and employment law attorney, bringing nearly 20 years of experience to KSB Law. She is an arbitrator and independent investigator. As an experienced litigator, Carole has represented plaintiffs and defendants in jury and non-jury trials and arbitrations, including handling employment matters for both employers and employees. She has also successfully represented companies, medical providers, and individuals and entrepreneurs in state and federal courts and in alternate disputes resolution forums, including the American Arbitration Association (AAA) and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
In the area of commercial law, Carole has experience with claims of breach of contract, consumer fraud and unfair collection practices, improper self-referrals by medical providers (Stark Law and Codey Law violations), as well as shareholder and partnership disputes and dissolutions, Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) claims or violations, land use appeals, and claims related to white collar crimes, such as civil racketeering (RICO). Carole has also handled matters involving various claims of fraud, including fraudulent transfers, mortgage fraud, banking fraud, Medicare fraud, insurance fraud, medical billing code fraud, common law fraud, and fraud on the court.
In the area of employment law, Carole has experience with claims of discrimination, harassment (including sexual harassment), retaliation, whistleblowing, and wage law claims, representing employees and employers in single-party and class action matters. As an independent investigator, Carole has served in a wide variety of industries, including the financial industry, shipping industry, beauty products industry, and medical professional industry, among others.

Carole has been dedicated to community service in addition to practicing law. For nine years, she volunteered her time as the Attorney Coach for the all-girls team of Villa Walsh Academy in the Vincent C. Apruzzese Mock Trial Competition, a statewide mock trial competition for high school students run by the New Jersey State Bar Foundation.
Carole also served as a Trustee on the Board of the Save U.S. Pets Foundation for two years and became a Certified Therapy Dog Handler, enabling her dog to provide therapy dog services regularly at nursing homes and other locations.
