This Training provides managers with strategies and tools to avoid pitfalls in performance management and minimize liability. The target audience includes all levels of leadership, such as supervisors, managers, and those who make significant decisions but may not supervise employees. Personnel in human resources, compliance, and legal roles may also benefit from this Training.
Managers and supervisors today have the difficult task of managing a workforce amidst a bevy of federal, state, and local laws governing the workplace. While the goal remains to make sure that all employees work to the best of their potential and maintain a productive and efficient workforce, managers and supervisors must tread carefully and minimize the risk of lawsuits.

Conducting bias-free performance evaluations
Providing warnings and disciplinary action
Proper documentation practices
Performance improvement plans
Coaching and counseling employees

This Training can be tailored to suit the employer’s needs and is conducted live (on site or virtually). It typically runs typically 2-3 hours, but it can be enhanced (or narrowed) as needed. KSB Law also conducts Employment Audits and assists with Employment Handbooks/Policies.
